Storage

Used for storing, porting and extracting data files and objects. It can hold and store information both temporarily and permanently, and can be internal or external to a computer, server or any similar computing device. When collecting large amounts of information from many sources, it is important to have a unified means of recording data.

Storage is a place where all data about customer have saved. So anything about customer will be save in AirAsia data storage. If anything happen to the customer, they can refer to that data of customer given. The storage will always update information of customer when have anything changed. This data is for the AirAsia to look for customer profile.   

7 KEY ELEMENTS-INTERFACE

Interface

Point of contact where a system meets its environment or where subsystems meet each other. The interconnections and the interactions between the sub-systems is known as the interfaces. They may be inputs and outputs of the systems.

Customer can use hardware such as laptop or hand phone to log in the AirAsia website to booked ticket flight. Make sure your hardware with internet access and use everything hardware to log in the website. 

This is example for mobile application AirAsia from the play store that you can download the apps. Anywhere, Anytime.  

7 KEY ELEMENTS-COMPONENT

Component

A system component is a process, program, utility, or another part of a computer's operating system that helps to manage different areas of the computer. Not to be confused with a hardware component, a system component is similar to a computer program, but is not something an end-user directly interacts with when using a computer. For this situation, component that involves with the system is access management component. The access management component is tasked with managing user access to data on a computer.

You can book ticket flight through online. First, you have to open AirAsia website first. Here the link for their website https://www.airasia.com/en/home.page .The process start when the customer request to log in, so they have to enter their email and password before to the next step.  You also can continue as a guest without log in use via email. Then fill up the destination, date of depart and return, also how many passengers that you want to book. After click search, so it will display that time of ticket that available for that date.

Next, you have to choose what time of your ticket that you want before you make a choice for the package that they offers. They have two packages such as Value Pack and Premium Flex. You can choose which one that you like.

At the right side of pages, you can see the price and detail of your booking. If everything is right, you can click continue for the next process.

After that, you have to fill in for guest detail. This is for information that management needs. Enter your name, gender, and date of birth. All information must be real then continue for the next step.

So, you can choose your seats. They have three types of seats such as hot seats, standard seats, twin seats and legend. Different type of seats has a different price that they have provide to customers.

Customer can check in baggage refer to the package that you have selected. The package has tells you for maximum of the weight of baggage. Other than that, customer can additional the weight for add other baggage.

Customer can enjoy the food in the flight. There have many types of food that they have prepared for customer. So customer can make a choice for what they want to eat for their meal.

Travel insurance also provides insurance for Air Asia’s customer. So if anything happen during flight, they can claim insurance to cover everything that their needs such as, bill of hospitality and other than that included.

For safety, customer has to fill in the forms of contact detail. If anything emergency case, they can refer to this information that have given.

So, this yours booking details. You have to check first before process for payment.

They are required for payment. So, customer can make payment use credit/debit card or online banking. After successful, they will post your ticket to your email. You can check your email after payment have make.

They will display your ticket flight. So, customer have to print out the ticket before go to the airport.

Outputs

The result of processed data in a form that user can understand. Output is usable information that is raw input data that has been processed by the computer into the information.Information is presented through output devices such as screen, monitor, projector or others devices. Output may be the result image, text, graphics or others.In this system,outputs can be defined as the resources or products provided to the environment by the activities within the AirAsia's homepage.

One of the output of this system is customer's info detail in a form of ticket. The ticket details include booking number,customer's name,departing and arriving time and destination.In computer,it will produce the output on the screen by showing the results of the booking ticket either it is accepted or not. Once customer had successfully booked for the flight ticket,the data of the customer saved in the system and produce the output through printing.As for the ticket counter management of AirAsia,they will update the data of the flight ticket booking system and print out the list name of the customers that categorized by the destination and departure time.For the in flight meal management,they will print out the list of the meal and the total of each set of meal according to customer's choice during book the flight ticket so that they can prepare enough amount of the meal for the passengers before departing time.

Inputs

The meaning of inputs are resources such as people, materials, information or others. Input is an information that user need to entered such as email, user id or password into a computer system. Input is easily known as resources of the system where system can process the input and give the logical output. The input comes from the environment (described as above) so that it can be manipulate within the system. An input device sends information to a computer system for processing and only allow for input of data to a system. A system feeds on input to produce output in much the same way that a business brings in human, financial, and material resources to produce goods and services.

Every customer have to log in first use via email and password or you can continue as a guest.

Customer have to key in the destination, depart and return date also the number of customer. Then click search.

Customer have to choose time for depart and arrive. They can also choose any package that AirAsia offer to customer such as Value Pack and Premium Flex. At the right side of page you can see the summary of customer. Click continue for the next step.

Customer have to fill in the customer detail that provided such as gender, name and date of birth.

Customer have to choose their seats such as hot seats, standard seats, and legend. The price for each type of seats is different. 

Customer can checked their baggage. Every customer can add-on the weight of baggage if they has extra baggage. So the extra price also will be provided.

Customer can choose their meals on the flight. Many type of foods that AirAsia offer for them.

Travel insurance also provided for customer safety. If anything happen during or along the flight, such as emergency case, this insurance will be cover everything that customer needs.

Environment

As for environment,it involves everything outside of the system such as the user which more likely known as customers itself. It also provides inputs to the system.Environment constantly interact with the system and adapt themselves to the conditions in their environment.

The environment that exists in this system are the customers can book the flight ticket through online  which they don't have to waste their time and energy to line up at the counter ticket. Before that,they have to register by log in are recommended use their email or Facebook.The department that manage the flight ticket were also involve in this system by collecting the data of customer. Other than that, they also can update the data of the customer for available booking that they provide for customers.
